The Houghton Hotel, Spa, Wellness & Golf Johannesburg

The hotel was clean, I loved it. Beds were uncomfortable, however it was truly a pleasant stay.

The staff was not very friendly.

My 1 night in Johannesburg were enjoyable. Loved central heating, a private safe and multi-channel TV in the room.

Came here for 2 nights with my baby, had a really great stay. It took just 24 minutes by car to get to the airport.

Gorgeous hotel, attentive and caring staff, favourable location in particular the restaurant.

Everything was great and fairly clean, I loved staff and rooms. Nothing to complain about, the venue met expectations.

The hotel room was soundproof with all amenities required.

very good staff and rooms, i enjoyed its essentials. set short walk to sandton and the ghetto in the good area. everything was perfect as expected, nevertheless the bathroom was cold.

The hotel was fabulous, I liked soundproof rooms and efficient stuff.

Great value for money, it was spotless. I enjoyed the cordial staff and perfect breakfasts. My suite was pleasantly decorated and well heated. The pool was nice and the garden - well-maintained.

Wi-Fi signal was very weak, made me a little nervous.

There is a friendly reception to relax in. Unbeatable location, 15 minutes' walk to Melrose Temple.

Hotel was overall clean and light, I appreciated its wonderful staff and rooms. Pretty nice bedrooms and great beds. Remarkable views from the window. The property was adjacent to beach, so it was awesome.

Breakfast was bountiful, location was unrivaled, staff was very amiable. I enjoyed that utensils and cutlery where provided in the standard king room. Neat and TOP RATED hotel in Houghton district. Moreover, it was just off Rosebank and the restaurant.

The location was amazing and room was well-designed, I loved very very helpful staff. Huge suite and very comfy bed. American breakfast with incredibly nice selection.

Traditional hotel, strategic location, lovely and lovely rooms. I loved a wide array of meals for self service breakfast, including cheese, meats and fresh bread. Access to the sandy beach, it was near the venue. Good drinks, good wifi were a nice surprise.

Lovely views of garden, friendly staff. The location was BEAUTIFUL and easily accessible. Their waiter is the best! Really loved that an individual safe, a mini-fridge-bar and a dining area were included.
